The natural ferment contributes lifted aromatics and complex notes of peach, green tea and spice with a hint of gunflint. The palate has a fresh entry of apple blossom and mandarin followed by silky stone fruits with a long sea salt finish.

Border Vista Vineyard

This single parcel, planted in 1997 to Dijon clonal material, is a mere ten metres from the BC-Washington border on the east side of Osoyoos Lake.

The vineyard, with Anarchist Mountain towering above it to the east, has​ a​ slight undulation​s​ characteristic​s​ of what was once the floor of a large glacial lake.

This is a wine of delicate beauty, with aromas of peach and citrus. The palate delivers flavours of citrus, mandarin orange and stone fruits. There is a hint of minerality, with a lingering finish. The oak is very subtle, framing the clean and focussed fruit flavours.

Capture is a texture and weight chardonnay but with restraint. The butter, apples, and pears give way to spice, honey, and tangerine before a lightly saline mineral finish.
